This year we're trying something a little different - combining one of the biggest sporting events of the year with a good cause!<br /><br />We have teamed up with Sandra Rich, a UNC alum who serves on the Kidzu board as well as several other boards and committees, including the Tickled Pink Cancer Fund and the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies. Sandra and her husband, Stephen, serve on the Carolina Center for Public Service community advisory board and as Past Presidents for the Preservation Society of Chapel Hill. They frequent the restaurant, and were the first people we approached when we began to consider doing a benefit night for the Super Bowl. We are thrilled the partnership with Kidzu worked out and anxiously look forward to this unique event for Super Bowl Sunday.<br /><br />We will have a $10 buffet including hot dogs, baked beans, mini deli sandwiches, pulled pork, bar snacks and more. The food will be donated by ourselves, with help from some of our suppliers, so 100% of the proceeds will go straight to Kidzu! We will have the game on all of our 50" flat screens, of course, so there will be LOTS of viewing room!
